NetDog MMO game networking engine releases new version, providing several enhancements

June 23, 2010: PX Interactive announces the release of NetDog version 2.1.0, a highly scalable, high performance engine for Massively Multiplayer Online Games. Version 2.1.0 contains several enhancements, bringing new flexibility to NetDog-based applications. Key enhancements include:

  • Updated Object Model API, which incorporates performance and usability enhancements over the object system in NetDog 1.
  • TCP Support, making it possible to switch an entire application from UDP to TCP or vice versa with a single line of code.
  • Usability improvements based upon initial customer feedback on the recently-released NetDog 2.
